Guy January to present! I did it! I put pictures up!

Guy six months.
Guy in May. Yeah, he is handsome right?

March? I think. He hates this toy now.

February. Ski Bum, minus the skiing.

Guy in January! He had colic still..see the grumpy face?

Yet another present day. He is such a happy little man now.

Lets see, where to start? Guy got over his colic by the end of February, and we couldn't have been more ready for it! He started sleeping through the night in March, which greatly helped the zombie look of Michael and myself. He was able to stand on his legs and roll by the time he was 4 months!
Today, he graces us with his babbling, (he can say mom! yes! go me!) goofy laughs, and social screams. He prefers to hold his own bottle when being fed, he is almost crawling, and he hates taking naps! (please Guy? Please take a nap, I'm exhausted!)Two weeks ago, he decided to never stay on his back and to roll everywhere. He even turns in his sleep, but he won't have it any other way than on his stomach. I had a heart attack every night I woke up and found him on his belly (SIDS! ah!) but was quickly reassured by the pediatrician that this was perfectly fine at this age. (I'm only a slightly paranoid new mother. haha) Hmm... what else to tell you? Oh yeah! We started him on solids today, his first meal was carrots. This may seem like an odd choice, but due to allergies in our family, it was the safest..and let me just say, he absolutely loved them! We also took a family trip down to Zions National Park for a few days with Michaels family, we had a blast and so did Guy! He experienced his first hike, we took him to all three of the emerald pools. He is a natural explorer and I'm sure we can't comprehend the trouble he will get into when he can walk!
Michael and I are becoming better at parenting by the day and with each new experience. Just the other day I took Guy for a walk outside in my arms, I watched his eyes light up as he heard new sounds and experienced new sights. I was reminded of how new and exciting the world seems to him, and I was grateful for the chance to be his mother and to teach him. I love him so much.
